Trevor Illsley
An NHS background in chemical pathology combined with 17 years successful pharmaceutical experience across sales, training, business development, area business management and NHS / Government affairs. Business start-up entrepreneur providing consultancy and interim management services to the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.
Prior to setting up HealthIntell, Trevor was senior manager of NHS and Government affairs at Cephalon UK Ltd where he was a member of the UK management team. He managed Parliamentary campaigns and submissions to the Home Office and Health Select Committee, co-ordinated all activities relating to national guideline programmes, took the lead role in developing relationships with patient groups and charities, and drove activity surrounding non-medical prescribing and controlled drugs legislation. Before Cephalon he worked at Hoechst Marion Roussel and Glaxo across a wide range of therapeutic areas and healthcare development roles.
